- - -von den Streitfällen die einen durch Urteil entschiedenrichtig und gerecht nach den Gesetzen, die anderendurch Vergleich billig und zum Nutzen der Bürger,so möge beschließen Rat und Volk: dass man belobigedas Volk der Koer und es bekränzemit goldenem Kranz wegen seiner Verdienste undseines Wohlwollens gegenüber unserem Volk undfür die Entsendung von vortrefflichen Männernzu uns zur Entscheidung der Rechtsfälle; dass man verkündediesen Kranz - - -Lücke damit nun auch das Volk der Koer das erfährt, was beschlossenwurde, soll man einen Gesandten bestimmen im MonatKronion nach der Bestätigung dieses Beschlusses;dass der Gewählte nach seiner Ankunft inKos bei seinem Auftritt vor den Amtsträgern unddem Volk diesen Beschluss übergibt unddie Koer ersucht zu beschließen, dass auchbei ihnen die Verkündung des Kranzes stattfindeund die Aufzeichnung des Beschlusses und die Weihungder Stele in dem Heiligtum des Asklepios, undsie bittet, auch in zukünftiger Zeitihr das Wohlwollen gegenüber dem Volk zu bewahren,würdig der von den Vorfahren her den Städtenüberkommenen Privilegien - - -- - -- - -
- - -some disputes they judged in accordance with thelaws rightly and justly, others again they resolvedequitably and in ways advantageous to the citizens,it is decreed by the council and people: to praisethe people of the Koans and and crown themwith a gold crown for their excellence and goodwill toward our people andfor sending to us good andhonorable men to settle the disputes; to proclaimthe crown - - -lacunaso that the people of the Koans may know what hasbeen voted, to designate one ambassador in the monthKronion after the ratification of the de-cree, and the one elected is to travel toKos and go before the magistrates andpeople and deliver this decree andcall upon the Koans to vote that alsoamong them take place the proclamation of the crownand the inscribing of the decree and the erectionof the stele in the temple of Asklepios, andto ask them also in the futureto maintain their good will toward the people ina manner worthy of the benefactions that have existedbetween our cities from the time of our ancestors - - -- - -- - -
